Description
Corner Cottage is a mid-17th century cottage with later alterations. It is constructed of roughly coursed rubble Doulting stone and features a double Roman clay tile gabled roof with a chimney stack at the rear. The building is two stories high and has a single window front. The entrance is located on the right side, leading to a small 19th-century two-light casement window set under a wooden lintel. There is a 20th-century vertical boarded door with a wooden lintel. The ground floor also includes a three-light, three-pane casement window that has a chamfered ashlar stone surround and ovolo moulded mullions. On the first floor, there is a two-light, two-pane casement window framed in a square chamfered stone mullion.
