Description

Milepost located in front of The Cottage, dating from around 1839. It is made of cast iron and has a trapezoidal shape with a canted top. The milepost features raised letters inscribed with the distances: "NORTON ST. PHILIP LONDON 105 WELLS 17 TROWBRIDGE 6 DEVIZES 16". It is painted in black and white.
