Description

These are a pair of mid-18th century buildings on the east side of Horse Street, Sodbury. They are constructed of rubble with a double Roman tile roof. The buildings are three storeys high and have six windows. The second-floor windows have glazing bar sashes. The first floor of No. 23 also has glazing bar sashes, while the first floor of No. 25 has large-pane sashes. All windows are set within plain painted stone surrounds with keystones and relieving arches. A moulded cornice extends across the front, with a pediment above the four central windows. A rubble parapet tops the structure. The front door of No. 23 is a six-panel door with an overlight, topped by a double keystone and pediment supported by brackets. No. 25 has a more modern ground-floor frontage.
