Description
This chest tomb is located 6 metres south of the southwest corner of the south porch of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and is made of limestone ashlar. The tomb features illegible square and oval inscribed panels, enriched flanking panels, double scroll ends, and a moulded cornice. These chest tombs are a fine example of local and classical tomb designs and significantly enhance the church's setting.
