Description
The chest tomb, located 16 metres south of the south porch of the Church of St Mary, dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features illegible square inscribed panels, low relief drapery, corner balusters, and a moulded plinth and cornice. This chest tomb is part of a notable collection of local and classical tomb forms and significantly enhances the setting of the church.
