Description
This chest tomb, located 4 metres south of the southeast corner of the south transept of the Church of St Mary, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is made of limestone ashlar and features illegible shield panels, enriched pilasters, an entablature, and a moulded cornice, with putti at the west end. The chest tombs are a notable collection of local and classical tomb designs and significantly enhance the church's setting.
