Description

This double chest tomb, located 5 metres south of the south porch of the Church of St Mary, dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features illegible inscribed circular and oval panels, enriched pilasters, a pulvinated frieze, and a moulded cornice. The tombs are a notable example of local and classical tomb designs and significantly enhance the setting of the church.
