Description

This is a barn and shelter sheds located 10 metres east of Barmers Lands Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The structure is built of rubble with pantile and double roman tile roofs. The large gabled barn features an off-centre gabled cart entry, which has a cambered lintel and plank doors, along with a postern. Lean-to extensions flank the barn. Attached to the north end is a range of single-storey shelter sheds, which have gabled roofs of varying heights and raking dormers above the entries. The construction techniques of the sheds include crude timber framing.
