Description
This is a barn and two shelter sheds located to the north of Upper Baggridge Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. The barn, situated to the east, is constructed of rubble and features a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges. It has a catslide porch with a square-headed carriage entry and a tie-beam roof that spans five bays. Attached to the barn and positioned at right angles is a shelter shed made of painted rubble, topped with a Cotswold stone slate roof. This shelter shed consists of one bay that continues from the barn, followed by six bays at right angles, supported by square and circular piers. Approximately 100 yards west of this shed is another shelter shed, built with similar materials, which has five bays and conical piers.
