Description

The Maltings is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century in Wellop. It is constructed of rubble and has a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are mostly 3-light casements with stone edge-roll moulded mullions. The central window on the first floor is a glazing bar sash window with a semi-circular head, keystone, and drip mould above. A central plank door is set within a plain, chamfered surround, topped by a flat stone hood supported on brackets. The building was formerly known as Albany House.
