Description

Steam Mill Cottage is an early 18th-century house constructed from coursed squared rubble. It features a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges and ashlar end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are 2- and 3-light casements with edge roll moulded mullions and surrounds. There is a continuous string course above the ground floor. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century plank door set within an edge roll moulded surround, topped by a carved stone head over the lintel.
