Description
Orchard House is an early 19th-century house constructed from coursed and squared rubble, featuring coped verges and a slate roof with end brick stacks. The building has a symmetrical front with two storeys and three bays. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has 16-pane sash windows, all with plain dressed stone surrounds. The central door opening is framed by a dressed stone surround and features a 20th-century door topped by a moulded slab hood supported by large console brackets. To the left, there is a single bay outshut that is also two storeys high, covered with a triple Roman tile roof and fitted with 4-pane casements.
