Description

Foxcote is a house that dates from 1853, as indicated by the date "A.J.R./1853" on a shield on the first floor, although it likely involves remodelling of an earlier structure. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate roof with coped raised verges. It has two storeys, with two windows and a central door. The windows are 16-pane glazing bar sash windows set in plain stone surrounds, and there is a single storey bay window to the right. A cill band runs below the first floor. The central panelled door has a fanlight and is framed by a plain semi-circular headed surround with voussoirs and a keystone.
