Description

This is a house dating from the early 18th century, located on Ashley Road in Bathford. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble with finer blocks used on the second floor, and has a double Roman tile roof with coped raised verges. The house is three stories high and originally had three windows and a door on the ground floor, with two windows on each of the upper floors. The windows are 2-light casement windows with moulded mullions and surrounds, featuring transoms on the ground floor and a cornice below the windows on the first floor. The entrance door, positioned slightly to the right, is sheltered by a flat stone hood supported on brackets.
