Description

This is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, and subsequently altered. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with freestone dressings, and has a double Roman tiled roof with coped and raised verges. The house is two storeys high with five windows. The ground floor windows are four-pane sash windows, while the first-floor windows are two-light casements; all are set in edge chamfered and rebated surrounds. A continuous dripmould runs above both floors. A central plank door is set within a raised, plain surround and is sheltered by a flat stone hood resting on brackets. A projecting wing to the left has a sash window with sixteen panes of glazing bars.
