Description

No. 21 Green Lane is a house that was formerly used as a public house. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed from coursed and squared rubble with freestone dressings. It features a 20th-century tiled roof with coped raised verges and a moulded eaves cornice. The house has two storeys and attics with gabled dormers. There are three windows, which are 20th-century two- and three-light casements, located under a continuous dripmould on the ground floor. The central entrance has a panelled door that is sheltered by a flat stone hood supported on brackets.
