Description

Yew Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and features a stone slate roof that has coped raised verges and ashlar stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with two windows that are 19th and 20th century casement windows, one of which is located under a drip moulding on the left side. The central entrance consists of a panelled and glazed door set within an open porch. Inside, the cottage has wide chamfered beams with run-out stops, and the left room features a framed ceiling divided into four panels.
