Description
Lee Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range and a gabled cross wing on the left side. The former central door has been replaced by 20th-century leaded and lattice-glazed windows, and the entrance is now located on the left side. Throughout the cottage, there are sash windows with glazing bars. The right wing has a moulded wooden eaves cornice adorned with a Greek fret design. There are two gabled dormers that contain casements with glazing bars, and a small oval window with radial glazing bars is located in the left gable. The cottage has three stone chimneys, which have been rebuilt. The interior has not been inspected.
