Description
No. 49 is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate and Cotswold stone slate mansard roof with coped raised verges and a moulded eaves cornice. The building has two storeys and an attic with a hipped dormer. There are two windows and a central door, which is a 19th-century four-pane sash window. The entrance has a four-panel door that is sheltered by a flat stone hood supported by brackets. Additionally, there is an ashlar boundary wall with capped piers that runs along the road.
