Description

Brook Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-17th century. It is constructed of roughcast rubble and features triple roll tile roofs. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two windows that include three-light casements from the 19th and 20th centuries, all set beneath two gables. There is a central two-storey gabled porch that has a two-light window above an unadorned opening, and a plank door framed with ovolo moulding and a cambered lintel.

Inside, the farmhouse boasts ovolo-moulded and stop-chamfered beams and door frames, including a double door frame and one with a shaped board head on the first floor. The interior also features a two-storey winder stair with solid treads at the first floor.
