Description
Hartley Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 17th century, with some remodeling done in the early 19th century. It is constructed from rubble, with some parts rendered, and features a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges. The building has three storeys and three bays, with the gable elevation showing signs of a raised roof. The ground and first floors have 16-pane glazing bar sash windows, while the second floor has two 2-light casements beneath drip moulds. There are also traces of casements with moulded surrounds on the ground and first floors. A continuous string course runs above the first floor. The farmhouse has a modern central door and a projecting porch.
