House. Late C16 origins, C17. Rubble, double Roman tile roofs. L-plan, through passage. 2 storeys and attic, 4 windows, various mullioned and transmullioned casements with very narrow ovolo-moulded mullion (many are C20 replicas), south front dominated by lower 2 storey and attic gabled porch which has a central studded door in a four-centered arch chamfered frame with diagonal stops, 3-light casements above, single attic lights and ball finials; at right 2½ storey wing breaks forward with a heavy buttress, 4- and 5-light windows and a C20 raking dormer; at left of porch are 4-light windows to ground and first and a 3-light above. 2½ storey rear elevation has 3 windows, mainly 4-light cross windows, there is a 3-light mullioned window replacing former central passage door and a larger similar one above. Both gabled end elevations have similar fenestration. Interior: the parlour has an ogee-moulded framed ceiling and reset panelling. (Source: L.
