Description
The Swan Inn is an inn that was originally a house, dating from the mid-17th century and later extended. It is constructed of rubble with double Roman tile roofs. The building has two storeys and features three windows, all of which are four-light casements with ovolo-moulded mullions set beneath timber lintels. The exception is the central ground floor window, which is a 20th-century two-light casement under a relieving arch. To the right of this window is a 20th-century gabled porch. The lower east wing, which is from the 18th century, has two storeys and two windows, while there is a single-storey hipped wing to the west. Inside, the inn has ogee moulded and chamfered beams throughout.
