Description

A pair of gateposts located 20 metres south of Moorend Farmhouse, dating from the mid-17th century. They are made of rubble freestone and consist of two very large square piers topped with a worn subsidiary cornice and a fully moulded cornice that rises to giant ball finials. Between these large piers are two low piers, each supporting an additional later ball finial.
