Description
This pair of gateposts, located about 30 metres south-west of Great Lounston Farmhouse, likely dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. They are made of granite and feature short square-section posts with lightly moulded tops, each topped with a large ball. The farmhouse was rebuilt after a fire around 1834.
