Description
This is a direction post located at the south-east corner of the lane from Ilsington Methodist Church to Lewthorn crossroads. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of granite. The post has a roughly square section with a segmental shaped top. On the south-west face, it is carved with "TO ASHBURTON," on the north-west face with "TO MANATON," and on the north-east face with "TO ILSINGTON." The letters have been highlighted in black paint.
