Description

The direction post at the north-east corner of Sigford Crossroads is an early 19th-century structure made of granite. It features a square-section post with a segmental shaped top. On the north-west face, it is carved with "TO MANATON," while the north-east face reads "TO ILSINGTON." The south-west face indicates "TO ASHBURTON," and the south-east face shows "TO NEWTON." The lettering on the post has been highlighted in black.
