Description
Rock House is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, and it may contain earlier work. The building is rendered and has a roof made of double roman tiles and pantiles. It is two stories high with three windows, all of which are glazing bar sashes, except for the central window on the first floor, which is a painted blank. The central entrance features a six-panel door beneath a transom light with turned glazing bars. The door frame is adorned with pilasters, roundels, and a cornice, and the roof rises towards the eaves. To the right (west) of the main house, there is a wing that is one story high and has a 20th-century top-hung multi-pane casement window. Please note that the attached Rock House Cottage is not included in this listing.
