Description

Hambrook Court is a house dating from the mid-18th century, located on the north side of Bristol Road in Winterbourne. The building features a render that is lined-out and has artificial slate hipped roofs. It is 2½ storeys tall and has seven windows, with one window at each end in projecting wings. All the windows are 20th-century multi-pane top-hung casements set within shouldered and eared architraves. The central entrance has a 20th-century glazed door beneath a segmental porch. The house has long and short quoins, a plain parapet, and steeply pitched roofs that suggest some refacing. There are also three hipped dormers. Despite the extent of 20th-century alterations, the building is listed for its historic and group value.
