Description

Tarawera is a house located in a short terrace on the west side of Bristol Road in Hambrook. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and is constructed of roughcast with a double roman tile roof. The building stands two storeys high and features three windows, all of which are 4-pane sashes. The central entrance consists of a 6-panel door topped by a fanlight, and it is sheltered by a flat hood supported on fluted corbels. The roofline is finished with a parapet that has moulded coping.
