Description

The White Horse Inn is a public house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It features a roughcast exterior, with the lower half of the building lined-out, and is topped with a double roman tile roof. The structure has two storeys and five windows. The first floor is fitted with glazing bar sashes, with the outer two being longer than the others. On the ground floor, there is a 16-pane glazing bar sash on either side of stone doors, which are flanked by 8-pane sashes. These are set behind a squat Ionic portico that includes two columns, two pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. To the left (east) of the building, there is a lean-to extension.
