Description
This is a 17th-century barn located about 30 metres south-west of Torney's Court Farmhouse. It features rubble construction and a Cotswold stone slate roof with raised coped verges and finials. There are lean-tos on both sides: the left has a double Roman tiled roof, while the right is covered with a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn has a rectangular plan, with the north front showcasing a cart entry that has a large timber lintel. The rear includes a 20th-century cart entry and two ventilation slits, with additional ventilation slits in each gable end. Inside, the barn has a six-bay roof supported by two rows of purlins, principal rafters, and collars.
