Description

BADMINTON C.P. KENNEL DRIVE (north end) ST 8082 and ST 88 SW 12/63 and 7/63 Kennel Lodge and flanking 17.9.52 Gates, Gate piers and Railings G.V. II Lodge. Early C19. Gates, gate piers and railings, mid-late C19. Ashlar; slate roof behind balustraded parapet; cornice. Octagonal classical lodge. 2 storeys. Single glazing bar sash window to first floor elevations, niches below on ground floor. Plain band above ground floor. Tuscan column porch with entablature, cornice and blocking course; C20 panelled door. Ducal crest of portcullis in garter on panel above porch. Flanking single storey wings project to south and west. Railings, gates and gate piers project to north and east: square ashlar piers with cornice; cast iron railings and gates between with fleur de lys finials.
