Description
The ice house, now disused, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble, with dressed stone that is coursed and painted white on the interior. The structure features a dome and a tunnel that are covered with clay and earth. It measures 11 feet 7 inches in height and 9 feet in width. Inside, there is a central drain equipped with a cast iron water trap.
