Description
The structure consists of a low curved wall, gate piers, railings, and gates at Hollywood Tower, dating from around 1820. It is made of ashlar and cast iron. The wall is divided into two sections, each approximately 7 metres long, and features a coped design on a plinth. There are piers at each end, which rest on a plinth and have a cornice and hipped top. The central piers are taller, also on a plinth, with a coved cornice and a plain top. Between the piers, there are spear-headed railings. The carriage-entry gates have spear-headed railing tops and decorative square plan piers topped with knob finials. This structure is included for its group value with Hollywood Tower.
