Description

The lychgate to the Church of All Saints, built between 1924 and 1925 by P. Hartland Thomas, features a combination of rubble and stone dressings, timber framing, and a stone slated roof. It has a three-bay jointed cruck structure that rises from rubble and ashlar side walls. A notable feature is the unusual counter-balanced stile gate, which includes a ploughshare handle and strap hinges. The lychgate also retains its original lantern.
