Description

Church Farmhouse, dating from around 1850, is constructed of random rubble with ashlar dressings and has a concrete tile roof. The building is two storeys high and has a 2:1 bay arrangement, with a projecting wing to the right. Windows are a combination of 12-pane lights over casements with 1, 2 or 3 lights, each featuring a drip mould, and the ground floor windows have relieving arches above the drip moulds. The front door is set within an ashlar surround with voussoirs. The projecting wing has a gable front with plain bargeboards and a cinquefoil window with a semi-circular relieving arch above. A large, weathered external stack is situated on the right side of the house, and there is a contemporary extension with a pitched roof. The farmhouse forms a group with the nearby Church of All Saints and its lychgate.
