Description
This structure consists of walls, railings, gates, and gate piers located approximately 10 metres east of Flanders Hall. It dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The walls are made of rubble, while the gates and railings are wrought iron, complemented by ashlar gate piers. The low wall features canted ashlar coping. The central gate piers are chamfered and rusticated, topped with keel and wave-section caps. The spiked railings have cast-iron urn finials on the standards. The paired gates are designed with wavy bars and scrolled decoration.
