Description

West End Cottage and Inglenook Cottage are two cottages under one roof, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. They are constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and stand two storeys high, featuring two first-floor windows. The building has quoins and in the center, there are paired quoined chamfered surrounds leading to part-glazed doors. The windows consist of paired 16-pane sashes set within 2-light chamfered mullion window surrounds, which were formerly 4 lights and include hoodmoulds. The structure also has shaped kneelers and ashlar copings, with end stacks, the one to the left being corniced.
