Description
The Laundry and Dairy House, located 30 yards to the west of Badminton House, is a building from the early 18th century that originally served as a laundry and brewery and is now a house. It is constructed from coursed rubble with freestone dressings and features a hipped Cotswold stone slate roof along with a moulded eaves cornice. The building is designed in the Queen Anne style and consists of a single storey with attics, featuring seven bays. The central three bays are slightly advanced and topped with a pediment, and there are 2-light leaded cross windows throughout. The main entrance is a central panelled door set within a bolection moulded architrave. A similar five-bay elevation is present on the west side.
