Description
No. 9 Priory Road is a detached villa dating from the early to mid 19th century. The building is finished in stucco and features end pilasters, a dry slate hipped roof with large eaves slates over projecting eaves, crested red clay ridge tiles, stuccoed brick end stacks, and cast-iron ogee gutters. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a symmetrical three-window front. The original windows are 12-pane hornless sashes, and there is a central doorway set within a mid 19th-century gabled porch that has been remodeled as a lean-to conservatory. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
