Description

The Old Farmhouse is a late 16th and early 17th century farmhouse. It is constructed of limewashed rubble with a double Roman tiled roof and brick and rubble stacks. The farmhouse has two storeys and originally consisted of three bays, although one window has been blocked behind a projecting outbuilding, which is not included in the listing. There are 19th-century two-light casement windows. A 20th-century door and porch are located off-centre to the left. The interior follows a cross-passage plan and features stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. The probable hall to the right has a framed ceiling with wide chamfered beams and a fireplace with a wide chamfered mantel shelf.
