Description
Woolleys Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with 19th-century windows. It is constructed of rubble with brick stacks and has a pantile roof. The building features a three-room cross passage plan with an added wing at the north-west corner, close to the road. It is two storeys high and has three windows, which are small two and three-light wood casements with a horizontal bar, set under wood lintels. Between the second and third windows, there is a plank door with a glazed panel. There is a ridge stack to the left of the passage and a large external stack at the right gable end. The back of the house has a plank door leading to the passage; above it on the left is a small two-light casement, and on the right is a small single light, possibly for the original staircase. The left gable has an attached lean-to porch, which is not of special interest. The wing at the back has one and a half storeys with casements in the gable end. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have chamfered and stopped transverse beams in the rooms on either side of the passage.
