Description
Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the late medieval period but was remodelled and dated 1637, with an extension added in the early 19th century. The building is rendered and features a double Roman tiled roof. It has two storeys and consists of three bays, plus two additional bays in the extension to the left. The windows are three-light casements with hollow chamfered mullions and surrounds, set beneath dripmoulds. There is an off-centre panelled and studded door to the left, which has an ogee moulded surround with decorative stops and strap hinges that have fleur-de-lys ends, all beneath a projecting hood. The main part of the house has three buttresses with off-sets that project from the front elevation. The left wing includes two three-light casement windows with segmental heads. Inside, there is a chamfered lintel above the fireplace and a rear newel stair.
