Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with later extensions and a front added around 1800. The building is constructed of rendered rubble and features double Roman tiles and brick stacks. It has an L-shaped plan with a stair in the re-entrant angle. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has five windows, all of which are 2-light casements with moulded frames beneath shallow painted hoods. The central entrance consists of a two-panel door set in a gabled porch adorned with decorative bargeboards. To the right, there is a two-storey bay extension that has the same style of windows and a plain door. At the rear, there are extensions including a dairy and washroom. The original ground floor features a 17th-century three-light ovolo moulded mullion window and a similar two-light window with leaded stays in the stair turret. Inside, the farmhouse includes deep chamfered and stopped beams.
