Description
This is a barn and attached outbuildings located 60 metres south east of Christon Court, dating from the mid to late 19th century. The structure is built of rubble with Bridgewater tiles and features coped raised verges. It is a single-storey building with a central entrance that has a segmental head and a keystone, accessed by a short flight of steps. To the right of the entrance is a smaller door with a similar design. The barn also includes two double loops and two square chamfered slits for ventilation. The south gable end has a corbelled and embattled stack. Attached to the south is a single-storey stable that has a similar door and chamfered square windows. There are also two further gabled single-storey extensions that step down the hill. The gable end facing the road features a segmental headed window with an edge moulded surround. The east elevation has a door similar to that on the west and two slits.
