The fountain on Green Beach, located on Elton Road, is a square stone structure dated 1883. It stands on open ground above the sea and features a tapering pyramidal top adorned with a foliage frieze. Each of the four sides has pointed arches with crocketed gablets that rest on colored shafts with crocket capitals. There is a drinking trough facing the road, which has an inscription above it that reads: "A righteous Man Regardeth the Life of his Beast, But the Tender Mercies of the Wicked are Cruel."
