Description
This is a late 18th or early 19th century building, one of a row of seafront properties. It is a two-storey structure with a hipped slate roof and a chimney built of coursed rubble on the right side. The exterior is finished with a cement render. The building has a plain eaves cornice and simple pilasters at the front. Bay windows, each with three lights, rise through both floors on either side of the main facade. There is a plinth at ground level, and three windows are present on the front elevation. The sash windows have thin glazing bars and are set flush within the façade. The central doorway is round-headed, featuring a recessed five-panel door and a semi-circular fanlight with Y-tracery. Numbers 2 to 10 (inclusive) and Number 13 form a group, alongside numbers 11 and 12, which are of local interest.
