Description

Anglesea House, numbers 12 and 13, is a pair of buildings dating to about 1860. It forms a group with numbers 14 and 15 on the opposite side of Victoria Road, and with Norfolk House. The front is constructed of ashlar, and is three stories high with a basement. It features a cornice and blocking course, with painted detail to number 12. Banded quoins are visible below the first floor, and incised pilasters rise above the first floor cornice, which is supported by brackets. There are four windows on each front, with architrave surrounds. The first and second floors have sash windows with glazing bars. Cornices with volutes adorn the ground and first floors. A wrought-iron balcony is present on the first floor of number 12. Entrances are located on the sides of the building.
