Description

A house dating from the early 19th century, with later alterations, is located in Nailsea. The house is built of rubble, rendered and has a double Roman tiled roof and gable stacks. The front elevation has two storeys and three windows, all with 16 panes in the sashes. A central 20th-century glazed door is set beneath a segmental hood supported by brackets. To the left is a lower two-storey addition featuring a single light window and a half-glazed door, plus a circular opening in a raised surround at first floor. The right return side has two 20th-century single-light windows and a glazed door, with a catslide roof extending to the rear. The rear of the house displays a variety of 20th-century windows, two raking dormers, and a raised roof to the right over a plate-glass window. A 20th-century glazed porch is situated on the right-hand side, and the remains of a pump and stone basin are visible to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
